The Nancy Dingwall Health and Counselling Centre strives to provide exceptional care to our students, staff and faculty. We aim to provide care in ways that best meet your needs and schedules. However, missed clinic appointments impact our ability to provide quality services.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call or email at least 24 hours in advance and office staff will reschedule your appointment during clinic hours. Missed appointments with less than 24 hours notice for physician services will result in a $40.00 “no show” charge.
If you are calling after hours, please leave a message with details including your name and contact information. If you arrive to an appointment more than 15 minutes late, we may cancel your appointment unless you notify us that you are running late.
Student Policy Holders are responsible for ensuring that visits to the doctor, or applicable diagnostic testing (i.e x-ray, blood collection, ultrasound and prescriptions) are covered under your policy.
Please be aware that this policy does not cover everything and has exclusions and conditions. Students should carefully read and understand the policy when they receive it. If you are not covered, there will be a charge.
International Students who carry Guard.Me for Health Insurance have the option of using a mobileDOCTOR, which connects you with a doctor from your computer or mobile device 24/7. These doctors can provide advice, diagnoses and prescriptions online. For more information on mobileDOCTOR, click here.
