CBU Alumni

Alumnus. Alumni.  Alumna.

We’ve all heard the terms, but what do they mean?

An alumnus is defined as someone who’s graduated from a school, college or university. Alumni is the plural form, used when there are a group of alumnus. And Alumna is the term used for a female graduate.

What does this mean specifically to Cape Breton University?
It means that no matter where life takes you, you will always be connected to a close-knit family of graduates who share a common bond.
The Cape Breton University Alumni Association was established in 1985 with the primary objective of uniting graduates and giving them the opportunity to network, as well as promoting the best interests of Cape Breton University.
Since that time, the Alumni Association has come a long way. With Chapters forming globally, and hundreds of new alumni joining the association each year, the CBU alumni family keeps growing and strengthening, making it easier then ever to connect with old friends and meet new ones too!
