Campus Activity Fee

Technology Fee

Campus Renewal Fee

Funds upgrades and maintenance of student-use facilities and spaces. This includes improvements to classrooms, study areas, and common spaces to keep campus safe, accessible, and modern.

Wellness Fee

Provides access to health supports, fitness facilities, wellness programs, and health education. It helps ensure students have resources for physical and mental well-being throughout their studies.

Health and Dental Fee

Covers extended health and dental insurance for eligible students. This plan offers coverage for prescriptions, dental care, vision, and other health services beyond provincial health plans.

Students’ Union Fee

Supports programs and services that enhance student life on campus. This fee helps fund legal appointments, emergency bursaries, the campus food bank, academic assistance, student societies, and major campus events. It also creates student employment opportunities throughout the year.

Canadian Federation of Student Fee

Provides membership in the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS), a national organization representing students across Canada. The CFS advocates for accessible, affordable post-secondary education and works on issues like tuition reduction, student debt, and sustainable campuses.

Students Nova Scotia Fee

Supports StudentsNS, Nova Scotia’s largest student advocacy organization. StudentsNS represents over 20,000 students and works to make post-secondary education affordable, accessible, and high-quality, ensuring student voices are central in decision-making at the provincial level.
