General Requirements for High School Graduates

  • English 12 (academic or advanced)
  • Math 12 (academic or advanced)
  • 2 Science 12 level
  • 1 additional grade 12 academic or advanced level course

General Transfer Student Requirements

  • In order to transfer to CBU you must be in good academic standing at your current/previous institution.
  • You must meet the general admissions requirements (or the post-secondary equivalent) for the program, found under the Canadian or International tabs of this tool.

Build on your prior technical diploma to advance your skills in modern production, operations and industrial systems while focusing on advanced manufacturing processes, automation, quality and operations management. CBU’s Manufacturing courses focus on the skills manufacturing industries are looking for in potential employees, including quality assurance, product design, controlling production costs and manufacturing management.

Who Is This Program For?

The BET (Mechanical) program is for students with a prior technical diploma who want to advance their careers. Students who are motivated, self-directed and interested in manufacturing systems and operations are ideal for this program. Ideal potential learners will also enjoy improving processes and efficiency and want the flexibility to complete their degree online.
