This degree is dedicated to providing a one-of-a-kind education to fill a demand for one of today’s most lucrative careers.

Our BET program has paved the way in technical engineering education for countless students. As one of the first degrees of its kind, CBU is at the forefront of environmental engineering studies.

CBU’s BET program is designed to be flexible. Two, three and four year programs are available, with opportunities to study some areas via distance.

CBU is also a carbon-neutral campus and home to the Verschuren Centre for Sustainability in Energy and Environment (VCSEE), leading research in the areas of green mining technologies, mine water remediation, biofuel-related projects and more.

The Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree does not lead directly to a Professional Engineering designation, but provides a strong foundation to pursue a career in the engineering field.

  • English 12 (academic or advanced)
  • Math 12 (academic or advanced)
  • 2 Science 12 level
  • 1 additional grade 12 academic or advanced level course

  • In order to transfer to CBU you must be in good academic standing at your current/previous institution.
