Spring 2021 Valedictorian

Application Deadline: Midnight, April 11, 2021.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be considered a potential graduate for the Spring 2021 Convocation.
• Applicants must have contributed in some way to the University community during their time at CBU.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong academic standing with a cumulative average of at least 80% as of December 31, 2020 (following fall term exams).

Submission Requirements

• A letter of intent stating why you believe you should represent the graduating class as Valedictorian.
• A copy of your updated resume.
• 2 CBU-related references (at least one academic). Please note: reference letters must be sent directly to su_cro@cbu.ca by the reference writer.
• A short video (less than 2 minutes) where you share a highlight of your time at CBU. This could include a special memory, or an experience you’ll never forget. Don’t forget to tell us why that memory stands out. You should also include why you feel you are a good representative for the entire graduating class.

Once Your Application is Complete

• Completed applications can be emailed to the Students’ Union at su_cro@cbu.ca
• Please remember that reference letters must be sent directly to the Students’ Union by the reference writer, not the applicant.
• By submitting your application, you are granting permission for the selection committee to view your official transcript, provided by the Registrar’s Office.
