Tour of Valour Kicks off Cape Breton Highlanders 150th Anniversary Celebration

A Tour of Valour wine tasting event will be held, as part of the 150th Cape Breton Highlanders anniversary celebrations, on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Cape Breton University.

“After 18 months of limited event activity we are thrilled to invite the community to our campus to enjoy this one-of-kind event. Equally, I am delighted to be partnering with the Cape Breton Highlanders as they mark a significant milestone and celebrate 150 years. The Tour of Valour is sure to be a highlight of the weekend that people won’t want to miss,” says David C. Dingwall, President and Vice-Chancellor, Cape Breton University and Honorary Colonel, Cape Breton Highlanders Association.

This event will stimulate the senses with an experience that attendees will not forget. Travel through countries of Cape Breton Highlanders significance such as Italy, France, South Africa and the Netherlands as live animators tell tales of the world’s greatest battles. Music of each country and era will transport guests into a fully immersive experience, moving from country to country while tasting the finest wine and food pairings available. The Hallway of Victory is sure to be a highlight as triumphant stories of Cape Breton heroes will be on display.

Join us at Cape Breton University and help celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Cape Breton Highlanders.
