CBU Reopens Fall 2023 Bachelor of Nursing Applications

Effective immediately, Cape Breton University will reopen Bachelor of Science, Nursing applications for the Fall 2023 semester. This decision better aligns with strategic healthcare initiatives including the recent announcement of a CBU satellite campus at Acadia University.
“With the recent announcement of the satellite campus offering, we’ve seen some movement of accepted candidates from CBU to the Acadia cohort primarily for reasons of geography. This means that we now have more program capacity for Bachelor of Science, Nursing students here at CBU,” says Bilynda Whiting, University Registrar and Director of Admissions. “With healthcare solutions being a major priority for CBU, we are thrilled to reopen applications for the fall 2023 intake.”
Applications are open for all entry pathways including Direct Entry, Advanced Standing. Cape Breton University is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion, and annually offers designated seats to Mi’kmaq, Indigenous and African Nova Scotia people.
