Happy Ramadan Mubarak

On behalf of Cape Breton University, I wish you a happy Ramadan Mubarak.

This past week, Muslims around the world began the observation of Ramadan. During this time, families, friends, and communities typically come together as they share a phase of recollection, reflection and reconciliation. Although this year, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, these celebrations will look extremely different as we all practice physical distancing, the sentiment remains the same, and I wish you barakah in everything you do.

To the Muslim community here in Cape Breton and around the world, I wish you a peaceful and blessed Ramadan and a happy Eid to follow.

Yours very truly,

David C. Dingwall
