You Are Loved: Book Launch with Tom Urbaniak and Tammy Krasniqi

The CBU community is invited to join CBU political science professor, Tom Urbaniak, for the release of his seventh book, and first children’s book, You Are Loved.

The event will take place at the Beaton Institute on Tuesday, December 17, starting at 12:15pm. There will be a light lunch and a reading of the book. Illustrator Tammy Krasniqi will also be present for the event.

You Are Loved was written in memory of Tom’s late spouse, Alison Etter, who passed away on Valentine’s Day, 2024. The text is addressed to Alison and Tom’s young son, Oliver, who had just turned two, but also presents a broader social message about the power of love as a force for good in the world. The text is in the four languages that Alison used for speaking and singing to Oliver — Gaelic, French, Polish, and English.

All of the author’s royalties from the book will go to the Rev. Alison Etter Memorial Fund at the Atlantic School of Theology to support alumni with in-community projects or continuing education that carry on Alison’s spirit, work and values.
