Waves of Change – Bystander Intervention Program

​Waves of Change is a peer-facilitated, evidence-based approach designed specifically for Nova Scotia post-secondary institutions that teaches participants about consent and bystander intervention skills.

Cape Breton University is offering students the opportunity to participate in the Waves of Change Program from September 18-21, 2023. All sessions will take place in the Dingwall Boardroom in the CBU Students’ Union Building (location #11 on our campus map).

Monday, September 18
5:00-7:00pm – Respectful Communication Online

Tuesday, September 19
11:00am-1:45pm – Bystander Module #1
4:00-7:00pm – Become a Facilitator!

Wednesday, September 20
8:30am-10:30am – Bystander Module #1
4:00-7:00pm – Become a Facilitator!

Thursday, September 21
8:30am-10:30am – Bystander Module #1
12:00-2:00pm – Bystander Module #1
