September is Ukrainian Heritage Month in Canada. The Ukrainian community has been an integral part of our history that shaped our cultural landscape and enriched our multicultural society over the past 130 years. At CBU, we recognize the significant role that the Ukrainian community have played and continue to play in Cape Breton and Canada as a whole.
The exhibit will be on display at the CBU Library Lounge on the first floor until mid-October. Afterward, it will find its permanent home in the Ukrainian Parish Hall (49 West St, Sydney), where the story of the Ukrainian community will continue to be shared.
