The BASE Habits of Productive Writers – PAW 2025 Virtual Session

The CBU student community is invited to the BASE Habits of Productive Writers virtual session for Procrastination Awareness Week (PAW) 2025. This event will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 3:00-3:30pm via Zoom. Thanks to guest speaker, CBU’s own Tammy Byrne, all sessions are completely free for CBU students.

Join guest speakers, Elise Vist of WCC UWaterloo and Mrs Jirina K. Poch of the University of Waterloo, who will talk about the four BASE habits (behavioural, artisanal, social and emotional) identified by researcher Helen Sword, help you figure out your writing BASE and recommend strategies and resources for those habits you need a little more help developing.

Procrastination Awareness Week (PAW) is an LSAC-funded cross-institutional collaboration that invites post-secondary students to learn more about procrastination, develop effective habits, connect with one another and make progress on their end-of-term to do lists
