Study Hall with the Pomodoro Technique – PAW 2025 Virtual Session

The CBU student community is invited to the Study Hall with the Pomodoro Technique virtual session for Procrastination Awareness Week (PAW) 2025. This event will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 11:00am-1:00pm via Zoom. Thanks to guest speaker, CBU’s own Tammy Byrne, all sessions are completely free for CBU students.

Join Amanda Blais of Carleton University, for a virtual Study Hall, where students will use the Pomodoro Technique in 25 minute work intervals with five minute breaks until the two hours is complete. Participants will be asked to select a specific task they would like to accomplish at the beginning of each 25 minute period, and break examples will be provided that participants may consider during the five minute breaks.

Procrastination Awareness Week (PAW) is an LSAC-funded cross-institutional collaboration that invites post-secondary students to learn more about procrastination, develop effective habits, connect with one another and make progress on their end-of-term to do lists
