Bring the whole family to the Ness Timmons Soccer Field for a weekend filled with soccer, activities, contests and more.
Saturday, September 10, and Sunday, September 11, mark the Capers’ first soccer games of the season on home turf and they need your support! In partnership with Soccer Cape Breton, Capers Athletics is hosting a weekend full of fun for all ages at the Ness Timmons Soccer Field. Check out the full schedule below.
Saturday
9:00am-12:30pm – U11 Girls 8-team tournament at the Dome Turf presented by Soccer Cape Breton
9:30am-11:30am – Minis U6-U8 tournament and Skill Centre U9 on the Ness Timmons Field presented by Soccer Cape Breton
11:00am-1:00pm – Soccer Cape Breton Fan Zone with Face painting, 50/50 tickets and more!
12:00pm – Pep Rally, meet in the Residence courtyard to march to the field with the Orange Army
1:00pm – Women’s game against UPEI
CBU Students shoot for $500 tuition waiver contest at half-time during each game!
3:15pm- Men’s game against UPEI
Sunday
9:00am – Activities presented by Soccer Cape Breton throughout the day including a 50/50. Stay tuned for a detailed schedule!
12:00pm – Pep Rally, meet at the field to get pumped up for the games with the Orange Army!
1:00pm – Women’s game against SMU
