Climate Change, Social Justice, and Education Symposium
The Department of Education at Cape Breton University welcomes youth, teachers, pre-service teachers, community organizations, Mi’kmaw communities, African Nova Scotian and newcomer groups to share their visions of justice-oriented climate change education at a participatory Symposium.
The Symposium will be a day to share current and future climate change education goals and plans, engage in dialogue and chart a path forward to strengthen relationships to support and enhance the work we are doing on Cape Breton Island.
Lunch and snacks will be provided.
