Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund Information Session

Join the CBU International Student Advising team on Monday, October 28 from 6:00-7:00pm (ADT) for an information session about the Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund (AICLF). This an Immigrant Services Association Nova Scotia (ISANS)-led initiative aimed to help immigrants with permanent resident status or Canadian citizenship obtain training and certification in their chosen fields or related fields in their new home provinces.

During this event attendees will learn:

  • Who is eligible for the AICLF
  • What costs the AICLF can cover
  • The kinds of programs the AICLF can help pay for
  • How the AICLF is funded and how it is administered across Atlantic Canada
  • Why the AICLF is a better choice for immigrants in Atlantic Canada than funding through a private institution on their own

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask their own questions during and after the presentation.

Students interested in attending can RSVP using this form. The registration deadline is Friday, October 25 at 5:00pm (ADT). After registration has been successfully completed, students will receive a link to the meeting. For more information, please contact Ken Partridge at kpartridge@isans.ca
