Michael Cadegan of Glace Bay will serve as the 2018 class Valedictorian and says, “It feels very special to be a member of CBU’s first graduating class of the advanced standing Nursing program. I can say with confidence that CBU has prepared me for a successful career in the healthcare field. And, as Valedictorian I hope that I will be able to remind my fellow graduates of the fond memories they’ve made at CBU, while instilling in them a sense of hope and optimism for the future.”
The graduating class, made up of students from more than 13 countries, will receive their degrees, diplomas and certificates from Chancellor Annette Verschuren. Grads were given the option of requesting their parchments in a variety of first languages, including French, Gaelic and Mi’kmaw.
