Admission Requirements
3-Year Direct Entry (high school graduate or mature student who does not qualify for admission into the 2-year Advanced Standing Program)
- English A30 or B30
- Math 30 level
- 2 Science 30 level courses (biology, chemistry or physics), (biology & chemistry recommended)
- 1 additional 30-level academic course
- Minimum of 70% average in each required course
- Completion of CASPer exam (Computer-Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics)
2-Year Advanced Standing (student who has previous university experience)
- 30 credits from post-secondary. Within the 30 credits, students must have the following: Physiology, Human Anatomy, English, Microbiology and Statistics
- Additional 15 credits of university level courses
- Minimum of 65% average in each required course
- Completion of CASper exam (Computer-Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics)
LPN to BScN Pathway (graduate of NSCC’s Practical Nursing Program)
- Completion of the two-year NSCC Practical Nurse Program in 2008 or later
- Completion of at least 1800 hours of work experience as an LPN within the last two years. Note: a signed letter from an employer is required as proof of hours
- Possession of a current LPN license
- Minimum of 75% average in all Practical Nurse Diploma program courses
- Completion of CASper exam (Computer-Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics)
Note: Students applying to the LPN to BScN Pathway Program must accompany their application with a letter of intent, official NSCC transcripts, a professional letter of reference from a current employer and a copy of their valid LPN license. Only complete application packages will be considered for admission.
