CBU invites applications for the Program Director, Cape Breton Medical Campus. This is a full-time continuing position.
Dalhousie University and Cape Breton University entered into a partnership in 2022 to establish the Cape Breton Medical Campus in Sydney, NS, with a goal of admitting the first cohort of learners in 2025.
The successful candidate will manage the implementation of the Cape Breton Medical Campus, ensuring operational readiness by the arrival of the first cohort of learners in August 2025. The successful candidate will establish, direct, and manage the daily operations of the administrative and operational units within CBMC (undergraduate medical education, student and resident affairs, continuing professional development and administration) in a multi-site environment, ensuring integration with the operational units at Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine, Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick, and Cape Breton University. Given the emergent nature of the Cape Breton Medical Campus, the successful candidate will also be flexible and responsive to a changing operational environment, employing good judgement to maximize human, financial, and physical resources.
