CBU invites applications for the High Performance Strength and Conditioning Coach. This is a full-time limited term position.
The successful candidate will develop and deliver appropriate strength and conditioning sessions with student athletes on the varsity (Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Track & Field) and club (Women’s Hockey, Men’s Rugby) teams and work with the Cape Breton Eagles Hockey Team, a member of the Canadian Hockey League. In addition, work with Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic to help develop youth athletes on Cape Breton Island while also providing an opportunity for personal business growth within the high-performance space on campus at CBU. Overall, the split in time for the Coach will be 70% Varsity and Club Athletes at CBU; 20% Cape Breton Eagles; 10% Youth Development Athletics.
