Executive Assistant to Dean, Library & Cultural Resources

CBU invites applications for the Executive Assistant to Dean, Library and Cultural Resources. This is a full-time continuing position.

The successful candidate will support the Dean of Library and Cultural Resources in all facets of the Dean’s responsibilities, including, but not limited to: collaboration with internal administrative units (library, Beaton Institute, Art Gallery) and external stakeholders; program and services planning, development and review processes; application of relevant institutional and human resource policies and procedures; staff development and student support; providing confidential administrative support to the Dean and Dean’s office, and supervising day-to-day operations, communications and the support staff of the Dean’s Office.

The successful candidate will also provide administrative support to all units within the Library and Cultural Resources Department (Library, Beaton Institute, Art Gallery, Math & Science Centre and Writing Centre) including maintenance of donor information, deeds of gift database, committee coordination and support.
