Communications and Social Media Specialist

CBU invites applications for the Communications and Social Media Specialist (CSMS). This is a full-time limited term position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing aspects of the strategic communications function including the University’s content strategy, storytelling and social media channels. Through the creation of original and curated content, the CSMS manages and creates engaging user experiences on CBU’s official social media channels and is the primary content creator from a brand journalism perspective. The successful candidate will also work closely with department colleagues to ensure goal alignment, knowledge sharing and project collaboration. This position also leads and collaborates with departments campus-wide to review, monitor and develop user experience improvements to digital communications including training aspects.
