CBU invites applications for the Campus Security Officer. This is a full-time continuing position.
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Security Services, the Campus Security Officer is responsible for creating and fostering a safe and open campus community which includes education and the promotion/enforcement of university regulations relating to safety and security. Regular shifts include days, nights and weekends. This is an active, physically demanding position responding to emergencies, requests for assistance, traffic/parking control and enforcement of CBU policies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and ensuring the personal safety of employees, students, and visitors as well as buildings on campus. The successful candidate will also participate in regular foot patrols and participate in the delivery of educational programs for students and employees.
