Project Coordinator Internship

Ready to build your career? We want to hear from you. As an intern at Pomerleau Construction, you will have the opportunity to support new and ongoing project growth while gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you’ll work closely with our teams to learn the ropes and make a real impact.

What YOU Will Do:

• Actively participate in project management tasks under the guidance of the Project Manager and team.
• Assist with daily tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
• Control workshop drawings to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the follow-up on site directives in collaboration with on-site teams.
• Assist in preparing change notices, working alongside stakeholders for effective communication.
• Monitor technical aspects of project communications for accuracy and relevance.

What YOU Will Bring:

• Must be currently enrolled in a recognized Engineering or Construction Management degree or diploma program.
• A positive mindset and sense of excitement for being in the action everyday on-site.
• A proven track record of team collaboration, strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be versatile, curious, meticulous, and eager to actively participate on a construction site.
• Have a passion for the construction industry.

Salary: $20.33-$25.89 hourly (depending on experience)

Hours: 40 hrs. per week/Monday-Friday/day shifts
