About Us

EverWind Fuels is embarking on a Clean Energy Project that will create Nova Scotia’s first green hydrogen production facility and unlock the potential of Nova Scotia’s green economy. In addition to the Point Tupper Clean Energy Project, EverWind operates the Point Tupper Terminal which has 7.5 million barrels of storage capacity and specializes in storage, blending and transshipping of petroleum and petrochemical products.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Human Resources Summer Intern to support the HR Manager in the implementation of our new HRIS and to contribute to several key HR initiatives. This role offers broad exposure to HR functions and meaningful hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, growing clean energy organization.

Major Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary record‑keeper for the new HRIS implementation by documenting decisions, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring all configuration details are captured and executed properly.
  • Research, draft, update, and assist in the rollout of HR policies and procedures, including change management and communication support.
  • Support the development and execution of HR programs such as engagement initiatives, performance processes, and other people‑focused projects.
  • Manage a variety of HR administrative tasks, including payroll and benefits enrollment, policy sign‑offs, and HR documentation.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of a refreshed HR onboarding program to elevate the new‑hire experience.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary Human Resources program.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
