Hunston Kachafanas CPA is seeking an Office Receptionist to join our growing practice in Sydney, Nova Scotia. You’ll have the opportunity to quickly assume responsibility for a wide variety of administrative functions, including data management, managing relationships with vendors, and maintaining firm policies and procedures. In our firm, you are respected as part of a team.
The ideal candidate would have an undergraduate degree with strong academic results, and while experience working in the accounting field is not required, it is preferred. As an organized and detail-oriented person you exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage deadlines and workflow. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience with QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, Caseware, and Profile are considered strong assets.
Salary range $40,000 – $50,000 based on experience, competitive benefits including health/dental plan and bonus, and a positive and supportive working environment.
