PART-TIME: Client Technology Service Student Technician

The IT Services Department at Cape Breton University is seeking to hire a student to assist with client technology services.

Job Description:

  • Create student ID cards
  • Monitor Phone and IT Service Desk window to assist clients
  • Help students and employees connect to our wireless networks
  • Tidy and maintain inventory records, physical inventory and work areas
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Solid working knowledge of Windows-based devices.
  • Comfortable with smartphones, both Android and Apple products
  • IT background an asset
  • Strong communication, collaboration, problem solving, active listening and customer service skills are required to be successful in this role
