The IT Services Department at Cape Breton University is seeking to hire a student to assist with client technology services.
Job Description:
- Create student ID cards
- Monitor Phone and IT Service Desk window to assist clients
- Help students and employees connect to our wireless networks
- Tidy and maintain inventory records, physical inventory and work areas
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Competencies
- Solid working knowledge of Windows-based devices.
- Comfortable with smartphones, both Android and Apple products
- IT background an asset
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem solving, active listening and customer service skills are required to be successful in this role
