PART TIME: Assistant, Pediatric Nursing Practice Simulation

Cape Breton University’s School of Nursing is seeking casual short hours student assistants to work with Pediatric Nursing Practice Simulation. 

For the Winter 2025 term, the ideal candidates are undergraduate students with experience in Pediatric Nursing (BScN students who have successfully completed their two week pediatrics rotation) and can commit to an average of 12 hours over the term including on campus and preparation work.

The successful candidates would be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing the required pre work prior to attending the simulation,
• Participate in the pre-sim briefing of the space and expectations,
• Being a participant in the simulation, either as an active member or an observer, with outlined roles and responsibilities, and
• Actively participate in the debriefing experience post simulation, and give valuable feedback on the simulation.
