The Energy Sector Development Division of the Nova Scotia Department of Energy promotes the energy-related capabilities of Nova Scotia companies and develops strategic approaches to ensure Nova Scotia businesses are positioned to maximize opportunities arising from the development of the province’s energy resources.
As a Co-op Student with the Energy Sector Development Division, you will help promote, market, and administer programs including the Nova Scotia Clean Economy Scholarship and Grant Program which is designed to encourage post-secondary students to pursue energy related careers.

In addition, you will provide support and input in Divisional projects that promote the energy-related capabilities of Nova Scotia companies.
You are currently enrolled in a relevant post-secondary co-op program (Public Relations, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, etc.) and returning to school full-time in the next applicable semester.

This Department of Energy co-op term is expected to run from September 8th – December 30th, 2026.
Pay Grade: HOURLY
Salary Range: $20.99 – $25.52 Hourly
