We are a CPA firm in New Minas, Nova Scotia that works directly with owner-managers and personal income tax clients to address their business, estate, tax planning, accounting and advisory needs.

Our firm has been working with business owners in the Annapolis Valley and beyond for over 30 years. Our team of CPAs, technicians and administrative staff are rich in experience and collaborative in practice. We work hard with our clients, during the exciting start up phase; navigating the changing business environment through a company’s growth to maturity; or assisting when it is time to wind down; we collaborate with our clients so they can focus on their business while we provide support along the way.
As part of our firm, you will develop your professional accounting career while receiving mentorship from our team of partners, staff and students. As a co-op student you will be exposed to the day-to-day operations of a public accounting practice including communicating and interacting with staff and clients, assisting on projects, and preparation of personal income tax returns and other business advisory services.

The successful candidate must be:
• Interested in the field of accounting
• Proficient with computers and software including Microsoft (word, excel, outlook).
• In their second or later year of university.
• Experience working in an accounting firm is not required but will be considered an asset.
• To be considered for this position you will have:
• A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
• Be able to learn and work unsupervised.
** Please note this Co-op work term could include working evenings and weekends throughout the term.
