The System Analyst will support all Supply Chain projects and enhancement as required. The System Analyst will work collaboratively under the guidance of a Senior Manager. This role will be responsible to support IT projects and ensure that business priorities and requirements are met. The System Analyst will be given multiple areas of responsibility in the execution of system changes. The System Analyst will support all phases of an assigned systems’ life cycle of design, development, test, implementation, etc. as required.

  • Participate in key roles in multiple system projects ensuring that the functional design and delivery solutions meet user requirements​
  • Collect, consolidate, and interpret business requirements for any supply chain systems project they support​
  • Evaluate and validate IT functional design documentation to ensure accuracy and completion​
  • Build and validate the current and future state process​
  • Contribute to the development of implementation and deployment plans
  • Execute operational readiness plans and provides implementation support during warranty periods through systems projects​
  • This role will work closely with the Supply Chain business and other IT areas to ensure a smooth project implementation​
  • Support the development of any artifacts required as defined by Loblaw SDLC (Software Delivery Life Cycle), such as user stories, solution blueprint, traceability matrix, test strategy, risk assessment, cost plans, etc.​
  • Participate in FUT (Functional Unit Testing) activities​
  • Support test automation test scenarios, test modules and test scripts
  • Supports ongoing activities for supply chain systems, including configuration changes, testing new releases and exploring functionality​
  • Perform ad hoc investigations into the system, work closely with IT experts on exploring system functionality, logic and programming, configuration options and possible solutions to meet the business requests.
  • Review testing defects across FUT, SIT, Performance and System Testing, and UAT and actioning to bring to timely resolution​
  • On an ad-hoc basis, and as required, contribute to SWAT teams and initiatives as determined by IT leadership groups/teams
  • Contribute within an Agile framework
