McCall MacBain Scholarships Virtual Information Session

Are you interested in mentorship, leadership skills development and the opportunity to start a fully funded graduate degree? McGill University invites you to attend a virtual information session on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, to learn about the McCall MacBain Scholarships.

The webinar will feature Q&A with Rebecca Seymour, the inaugural Cape Breton University finalist. This is an exciting opportunity to hear from a student who has distinguished herself nationally and about to head to Montreal for the final round.

Established with a $200 million donation in 2019, the McCall MacBain Scholarships are Canada’s largest leadership-based scholarships for master’s and professional studies. The program brings together students who strive to engage in positive change by taking on meaningful leadership roles.

The scholarship covers:

  • Tuition and fees for 150+ eligible programs at McGill University
  • A living stipend of $2,300 per month during academic terms
  • Summer funding options and a relocation grant
  • Mentors and coaching
  • A leadership curriculum

For 2027 entry, up to 30 full scholarships and 100 one-time awards, ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 each, will be available. Two-thirds of the scholarships are offered to Canadian students, and one-third to international students.

Learn more about the fully funded graduate study opportunities at McGill University at the Cape Breton University Information Session on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 12:00pm (Atlantic Time). This one-hour virtual information session will also include time for Q&A. Visit bit.ly/atl-scholars to register.
