Joe & Ruth Shannon Scholarship

Beinn Mhàbu is pleased to offer the Joe & Ruth Shannon Scholarship for students enrolled in the Gaelic Foundations Program at Beinn Mhàbu. Multiple awards up to $8500 are available to students meeting the eligibility criteria below.

APPLICANTS MUST:

• Be entering full‐time study in the Gaelic Foundations: Living Cultures program at Beinn Mhàbu

TO APPLY, SUBMIT:

• A completed Beinn Mhàbu Scholarship form
• A copy of your resume
• A two‐page essay (1,000 words max) outlining the following:
  • Why you wish to attend the Beinn Mhàbu Gaelic Foundations Program & how this program will help you attain your goals
  • Demonstrated commitment to hard work and perseverance
  • Examples of volunteering and leadership in your high school, extra-curricular, community or other activities

Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need.

Deadline to apply is March 31, 2024.
