The Kehoe Forum is the official Home of Women’s Hockey, with the main tenants being the CAPERS Women’s Hockey Team and the Cape Breton Blizzard Hockey Association, which consists of more than 500 girls and young women at all levels of play. The only fully accessible arena in Cape Breton, the Kehoe Forum is also home to the Cape Breton Sledgehammers.
The new fully renovated Kehoe Forum also includes an expanded Nancy Dingwall Health and Counselling Centre, a new fitness facility with state-of-the-art equipment, an indoor walking track and a fully accessible ice surface for sledge hockey. This building will also allow us to host large-scale events such as convocation, conferences, dinners, and cultural celebrations comfortably, right here on our own campus.
About the Role:
Event Staff assist with setup, operations, and crowd control during large on-ice events and off-ice functions. Duties include installing and removing ice covers, glass panels, curtains, tables, and chairs as needed. This role is scheduled based on event needs, with shifts only when events are taking place. Physical stamina and adaptability are key requirements.

Shift Hours: 6 hours to 12 hour shifts. Part time hours from 8 hours to 20 hours a week.
