INSTRUCTOR, MATHEMATICS (Limited Term)

The Department of Math, Physics & Geology in the School of Science & Technology at CBU invites applications for a Full-Time Limited Term (approximately 9-month term) position in Mathematics at the rank of Instructor. This position will commence around August 20th, 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter) and end April 30th, 2025.

Reporting to the Dean of Science and Technology, the successful candidate will primarily teach courses within the School of Science and Technology, supporting students in the Bachelor of Sciences program, as well as those in Bachelor of Engineering Technology. These courses will be in-person first- and second-year courses in mathematics in support of our technology programs. The specific courses in need of coverage are: Fall: Math1107, Math1107L, Math2104, Math2104L Winter: Math1107, Math1107L, Math1208, Math1208L, Math2205, Math2205L and other related courses as assigned.

The successful candidate will be expected to enrol in CBU’s University Teacher’s Program upon hiring.

Candidates should have an Undergraduate Degree in mathematics and related experience in industry and/ or teaching mathematics in a postsecondary environment.
