Lloyd White

Lloyd White was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia the son of a Barber and a Registered nurse. After brief stints at various jobs in construction, food services and private business, Lloyd decided to return to education. He enrolled in University College of Cape Breton (now Cape Breton University) in 1994 and graduated in 1997. He pursued postgraduate studies at Acadia University and earned his M.A. Sociology in 2002. He has been delivering courses for Cape Breton University both on campus and in various Nova Scotia Indigenous communities for over 20 years. .
