Administrative Assistant to the Associate Vice-President of Indigenous Affairs and Unama'ki College

Celia O’Shea is the Administrative Assistant to Stephen Augustine, Associate Vice-President, Indigenous Affairs and Unama’ki College at Cape Breton University (CBU). She was previously the Executive Assistant for the Purdy Crawford Chair in Aboriginal Business Studies at CBU, whose office is in Membertou First Nation. Prior to joining CBU in 2014, Celia had a 22-year career with IBM, working at IBM Canada and IBM New Zealand. During her time at IBM, Celia held a variety of roles, ranging from technical to sales, but her passion and primary areas of expertise are in Operations Management and Project Management. Celia has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from St Francis Xavier University.
