CBU Employee Giving Program
For as long as there has been a Cape Breton University, we have worked together, supported each other and succeeded together. That is the way it is today and should always be.
Every day, we work to educate students from more than 70 countries, research how to use our resources wisely and work with community partners to help grow the Island’s economy.
As a university committed to excellence in teaching and learning, CBU offers students exceptional experiential learning and undergraduate research opportunities within a supportive academic environment. Through the Employee Giving program, we can help ensure our students have access to the resources they need to attend CBU, succeed in their studies, and fully realize their potential.
When we support the Employee Giving Program, our contributions help CBU offer more scholarships and bursaries to more students. As employees, we want every student to have access to a world-class education, regardless of their circumstances. By giving through payroll deduction, we collectively make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who study with us.
How It Works
- Sign up Choose the amount you would like to give.
- Automatic deductions Your chosen donation is deducted from each pay or charged to your credit card.
- Tax receipts
- Payroll donations will be receipted directly on your T4 at year-end.
- All other donations will be receipted separately.
