Meaningful employment is an important part of student success. The Jennifer Keeping Centre (JKC) is committed to helping students with disabilities access inclusive, accessible employment opportunities, while also supporting employers in creating welcoming workplaces. Resources and Grants are available for both CBU students and external employers.

  • Resume & Cover Letter Support – Create strong, accessible applications that highlight your skills and experiences.
  • Interview Preparation – Practice interview strategies, including how to discuss strengths and request accommodations and disclose your disability if that is something that you want to do!
  • Understanding Your Rights – Learn about workplace laws, disability disclosure, and human rights protections.
  • Workplace Accommodations – Guidance on requesting and implementing accommodations that support success on the job.
  • Career Development Workshops – Sessions on networking, job search strategies, and building confidence in professional settings.
  • One-on-One Coaching – Individual support to meet your unique career goals and needs.
