WORK STUDY: SPECIAL PROJECT ASSISTANT REGISTRAR’S OFFICE

Job Description: 

The primary purpose of this position is to support the Registrar’s Office with special projects and can include: online presence – social media and website review and development, convocation activities, research and data collection related to policy review and development.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good writing skills
  • Strong communication skills including in person, through email and on the phone
  • Organized and efficient; able to keep track of multiple projects and tasks
  • Experience with basic office software, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

 Duties
The duties of this position include: Online Presence

  • Research best practices related to the redesign of the Registrar’s Office online presence with a focus on service delivery
  • Provide written synopsis of research to assist in department work
  • Attend meetings with department to discuss research findings Convocation
  • Administrative support tasks before, during and after Fall Convocation Policy
  • Research best practices related to policy review and development from the perspective of the Registrar’s Office
  • Provide written synopsis of research to assist in department work
  • Attend meetings with department to discuss research findings
