WORK STUDY: Administrative Support for the Department of Literature, Folklore, and the Arts

The administrative support person will  

  1. help build a sharepoint repository of departmental documents, which includes devising clear and intuitive filing and naming conventions and producing documentation for all department members
  2. support program review and revision processes by tracking materials and approvals, sending materials for approval, and communicating changes to relevant units
  3. gather materials for and maintain a departmental display case
  4. gather materials for a departmental website in development

The successful candidate will be well organized, a good communicator, and confident with technology, including programs like Word and Excel. Candidates must have excellent writing skills; applications that do not demonstrate these skills will not be considered. Candidates will either have knowledge of university administration and/or Sharepoint, or they will have a strong interest in learning about these systems.
