Ampli is Canada’s newest cash back app, helping Canadians earn more on their everyday purchases, both online and in-store. Are you passionate about using data to answer business questions? Then this role is for you.
What will you do?
- Create and edit reports for the business (marketing, partnerships, product and executive)
- Update tables using stored procedures
- Assist with clean-up of the existing reports (recategorization, changes, deletion, etc).
- Document existing reports
- Assist in quality assurance testing of output from ML & NLP models.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- An ability to work independently and within a team
- A willingness to learn and continually grow
- Experience working with and manipulating data in Excel and SQL
- Solid understanding and technical skills in data analytics methodologies
- Experience in / an interest in learning advanced analytics methodologies and tools (Python, R, machine learning, etc.)
Nice-to-have
- University degree or courses in a quantitative field of study (e.g. mathematics, engineering, economics, statistics) to demonstrate ability for critical thinking & numerical analysis
- A keen ability to tell stories with data
- Strong Communication and presentation skills
- Experience in data visualization tools including Tableau
- Experience with digital analytics tools including Google Analytics
