About the Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time employee to work within our 45Drives Research and Development Team as a
Software Developer.
Your duties will include:
• Assist with all R & D initiatives.
• Research of new technology.
• Execution of project tasks.
• Designing and execution of experiments to complete project tasks.
• Documentation of our systems and technical process improvements.
• Continued process/product improvements.
• Working with internal stakeholders to solve complex problems
• Ensuring our software applications are highly testable, maintainable, andscalable
Qualifications/Skills
Deep comfort with Linux, particularly CentOS and all Red Hat based technology. Must be very
comfortable with a command line. Experience with enterprise storage technologies, including open
source. Proprietary storage technology is an asset but not required. Experience with containers
and virtualization and cloud technologies is an asset.
Specific Technical Skills:
• Ansible
• Python
• Bash
• JavaScript/HTML/CSS
Education Requirements:
B.Eng Computer/Electrical Bachelors in Computer Science
Experience required:
At least 1 year in the workforce (co-op is acceptable)
