Entry Level Logistics Clerk/Warehouse Personnel
We are looking for a detail oriented individual to assist in our busy Orders department. This is an entry level position and the successful candidate will work with our Purchaser and perform a variety of different tasks including:
• Material handling and inventory counts,
• Support the supply chain operations
• Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
• Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.
• Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
• Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.· Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization
• Effectively manage accounts and maintain relationships with client
• Customs processing and clearance tracking
• Pick-up and delivery appointment booking
• Operating skid steer to unload material,
• Prepare material to be transferred to sites as directed by our purchaser and project managers,
• Maintaining our custom tool tracking program,
• Recognize and solve supply chain issues to ensure material is on time.
We currently use custom built Excel workbooks and Macros to automate our orders process and are looking for someone with the following skills:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook are an asset,
• Strong communication skills,
• Organized and detail oriented,
• Able to manage time efficiently and effectively,
• Able to take initiative to solve problems,
• Graduate of a business and or logistics/supply chain program
• Desire to develop your career in transportation/logistics
• High sense of initiative
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
