Job Description

  • Build large-scale batch and event-driven data pipelines using latest technologies such as Spark, NiFi, Kafka, Docker, OpenShift, etc.
  • Configure and manage SQL based self-serve compute platform – Starburst Trino
  • Apply design-thinking and agile mindset in working with other engineers, and business stakeholders to continuously experiment, iterate and deliver on new initiatives.
  • Leverage best practices in continuous integration and delivery using DataOps pipelines.
  • Explore new capabilities of Nextgen data platform.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering and Analytics team to drive business decisions using data.

 

 

Job Summary

 

This is an opportunity within the Data and Analytics team at RBC Global Asset Management (GAM). As part of this group, the successful candidate will support development and implementation of GAM’s Data Platform. The candidate will have the opportunity to build data driven products and insights, tackle challenging data-related problems using RBC’s internal datasets & value-added external data.
