Job Description

What Will You Do?

  • Support the WM DMO in fulfilling key tasks – analysis, inquiry, progress tracking, presentations, meeting organization – for strategically important WM platform projects involving record retention, data risk, privacy, and data management
  • Play a prominent role in ensuring reporting requirements – risk, strategic project, ad hoc – are fulfilled through the acquisition and compilation of information for DMO management and key stakeholder review
  • Develop  topical knowledge and competence in tools and business processes used in the WM DMO
  • Assist other team members as directed, and continue to strengthen working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Stay current with all applicable RBC Policies & Procedures

 

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must Have:

  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral
  • High proficiency in |MS Office desktop tools – presentations, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Analytical thinker with willingness to challenge
  • Be able to self-manage and meet various team deadlines

 

Nice to Have:

  • Entry level knowledge of common investment industry products and practices
  • Undergraduate courses in Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • Familiarity with common business reporting tools like Tableau

 

 

 

 

Job Summary

 

As part of a dynamic team – the Wealth Management Data Management Office (WM DMO) – you will support the evolving reporting, monitoring and analytical needs of the DMO through the identification of appropriate data sources, analysis and extraction of key data and information, and evaluation of data quality to meet internal service requirements. You will apply complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform your assignments, and you will interact with a variety of internal stakeholders.
