Using state-of-the-art equipment and technology, Irving Personal Care produces premium quality private label products for major North American retailers.

 

The Quality Assurance Co-op – Irving Personal Care – Summer 2023 will be based out of Moncton, New Brunswick (220 Harrisville Boulevard, E1H 3N5). This is a temporary student position. The primary language of work is English.

Job Requirements 

• Enrolled in Engineering Degree (Chem Eng preferred; others may be considered)
• Strong computer skills and statistical analysis (MS Excel, Minitab/SigmaXL)
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement tools
• Excellent attention to detail
• Meet or exceed strict deadlines
• Ability to analyze and communicate information effectively and accurately
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with Minitab, PARCView, SharePoint, PowerBI, and Tableau is an asset

 

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include: 

• Supports the development, monitoring, and improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Maintain existing quality procedures, equipment certifications and GMP standards.
• Supports the implementation and maintenance of the Risk Management system across various functions and departments including but not limited to: SPC, Process Map, PFMEA, HARA and Control Plans.
• Product and Process quality improvement initiatives/projects.
• Conducting product testing and data analysis based on the proficiency testing protocols.
• Analysis of data related to quality checks, quality parameters, and action plans.
• Reports of internal and external audits.
• Leading or participating in the development of trial products and studies.
• Handling sample requests and raw material rejects.
• Other duties as assigned.
