Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance SST’s online presence
- Create engaging and shareable content for various platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Monitor social media channels for relevant content
- Provide training to Dean’s Office administrators on continued use
Newsletter Creation:
- Help curate and write content for a newsletter highlighting SST’s achievements, updates, etc.
- Design visually appealing newsletters using appropriate tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and updates
Requirements:
Student Status:
- Currently enrolled as a student with a focus on marketing, communications, or related fields
Social Media Savvy:
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices
- Experience with content creation and management
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
Creativity:
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- Strong attention to detail in content creation
Tech-Savvy:
- Familiarity with social media management tools and newsletter platforms
- Basic graphic design skills are a plus
Position is a maximum of 8 hours per week and will end August 31, 2024
