Operations Analyst – Business Integration Management Centre of Excellence (CoE) – Co-op/Intern Winter 2023 – Toronto (8 Months)

 What will your typical day look like?

Reporting to the Senior Manager on the Business Integration Management Center of Excellence (CoE), you will work collaboratively with key Finance, Technology and Business stakeholders to identify, manage, and deliver Canadian financial process and system enhancement projects.  The incumbent will support the team in the development, roll-out and adoption of new system features, tools and reports.

The key job responsibilities include the following:

  • Support project delivery through testing, developing process flow diagrams and creating training materials
  • Prepare presentations for team and stakeholder meetings
  • Develop and update project workplans and project status tracking reports
  • Gather and analyze data, identify issues and trends, and develop recommendations

 In this role, the expected qualifications are:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP
  • Advanced in Excel such as macros, functions and working with large volumes of data
  • Ability to program scripts / VBA would be an asset
  • Ability to draw insights from information and convey complex information in a straightforward manner
  • Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and analytical skills
  • Excellent analytical, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to draw insights from information and convey complex information in a straightforward manner
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to write in a well-organized, cohesive, and concise manner
  • Working to achieve PMP designation would be an asset
